FSD has established a CBS Change Control Board (CCB) to provide a governance structure to prioritize changes submitted by its Line and Staff office users to NOAA owned CBS software and focus FSD’s limited discretionary resources on the highest priority and most impactful changes to its software.
Process Overview
To submit a change request for NOAA owned CBS software, LO/SO users should contact their office's CBS CCB member.
Please Note:
- Changes to NOAA owned system interfaces must be submitted by the appropriate office’s LO/SO CBS CCB member (e.g., OCIO submits change requests for Grants Online interface, NWS submits changes in support of MARS Data Warehouse extract, etc.).
- The OCFO CCB member will submit changes requested by Under Secretary and Associated Offices (USAO), Office of Education, Office of Communications, etc.
- Line and Staff Offices should submit change requests 3 weeks prior to the scheduled LO/SO CBS CCB so the change can be analyzed by FSD prior to the scheduled LO/SO CBS CCB meeting.
