 November 2018 NOAA EEO and D&I Events Calendar - SAVE THE DATES

To enhance our Diversity and Inclusion efforts, we are pleased to announce November 2018 EEO and D&I Events Calendar.  This calendar is a compilation of the various special events being conducted across the Agency that are sponsored by the Civil Rights Office and/or the numerous Employee Resource Groups and Affinity Groups within NOAA.  The intent of these events is to recognize and promote awareness and acceptance of different cultures as well as to offer professional development for all employees in an effort to support NOAA’s efforts to create a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Do not miss any EEO and D&I Event! Click here now to open our NOAA EEO and D&I Events Google Calendar.  Here you will be able to copy directly to your personal google calendar those events that you would like to attend. If you have issues opening the link, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open your Google Calendar

  2. On the left side, go to the search bar “Add a coworker’s calendar” and click on + (plus icon) to add other calendars

  3. From the options that will come up, select “Browse resources”

  4. Under the list of resources, scroll down until you find “NOAA” and click on Ú  to expand section

  5. Scroll down until you find “NOAA – CRO – EEO and D&I Events” and select þ

  6. The calendar will now show under your calendars

Events are open to all NOAA employees and we highly encourage you to participate.  They can provide an enriching experience and help you develop professionally.  However, employees should obtain their supervisor’s approval prior to attending.
