1. THIS TRANSMITS:
Revocation Notice for NOAA Administrative Order (NAO) 206-13, Advisory and Assistance Services.
2. PURPOSE:
This Revocation Notice revokes NAO 216-13, Advisory and Assistance Services, dated January 19, 1990, approved by the Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere on October 08, 2008, and issued as Transmittal #73 of the NOAA Delegation Services.
The Department Administrator Order (DAO) 208-10, Management of Contracted Services prescribes the policy and responsibility for management of services contracts, including advisory and assistance services contracts, undertaken by individual operating units and Secretarial Officers of the Department of Commerce. This DAO superseded DAO 216-13, dated March 1, 1985, and in effect superseded NAO 216-13. Therefore, a NOAA Administrative Order on the subject is no longer needed.
