1.  THIS TRANSMITS:

Revocation Notice for NOAA Administrative Order 205-15, Privacy Act.

2.  PURPOSE:

This Revocation Notice revokes NOAA Administrative Order (NAO) 205-15, Privacy Act, dated December 14, 1990. The Department of Commerce Privacy Act Handbook of Privacy Act Administration prescribes Department-wide policy, procedures and responsibilities for the
administration of an effective privacy protection program. Therefore, a NOAA Administrative Order on the subject is no longer needed. The handbook may be assessed at the Department of Commerce Intranet website at: http://home.commerce.gov/omo/foia/privacyhandbook.pdf.
